Privacy Policy

for the mobile application FinanzPlaner (Android, distributed via Google Play)
Effective date: 10 October 2026

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for this app under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws is:

Nikolai Wiludda
Ahrensboeker Straße 1B
23617 Stockelsdorf
Germany
Email: support@gaming-project.com

The same contact details are also available in the Google Play listing and in the app under More → Privacy.

2. Scope of this policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you use the FinanzPlaner app, for which purposes, on which legal bases, and which rights you have.

FinanzPlaner is a household budget book for organising income, expenses, budgets, accounts, goals and optional receipt photos.

3. Key point: local processing

FinanzPlaner is designed as a local app:

Where the app still uses device features or third-party components (e.g. fonts, on-device text recognition, operating-system APIs), this is described below.

4. What data is processed?

4.1 Content you enter (local app data)

Depending on use, the following may be stored locally:

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract / use of the app) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a functioning app), where processing is technically necessary.

4.2 App lock (PIN / biometrics)

If you enable an app lock, the related settings are processed locally. Biometric authentication (e.g. fingerprint, face unlock) uses the operating-system interfaces. The app does not read, store or transmit biometric raw data to the provider.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by enabling the feature) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protecting data stored on the device).

4.3 Notifications

You may optionally enable local notifications (e.g. budget alerts, recurring reminders, daily remaining-budget tips). These are scheduled and shown on the device. They are not sent to a server of the provider.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by enabling the setting / system permission).

4.4 Camera and photos (receipts)

Camera/photo access is used only when you capture a receipt or pick an image from the gallery. Images are stored locally in the app and may optionally be analysed with on-device text recognition (see below).

4.5 Home-screen widgets

If you use widgets, selected figures (e.g. remaining budget) are passed locally to the operating system’s widget display. This does not transmit data to the provider.

5. Internet access and third-party services

The app requests Internet permission. Household budget data is not transmitted to the provider via that permission. Internet access may be used in particular for:

Legal basis for technically necessary connections: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable presentation and functionality). Where consent is required (e.g. optional permissions), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

6. Purposes of processing

7. Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, use a reset function, or uninstall the app. After uninstallation, the operating system usually removes the app data; exceptions may include export files you saved outside the app.

8. Sharing of data

Your household data is not shared with the provider or third parties unless:

User data is not sold.

9. Tracking, advertising, profiling

FinanzPlaner contains no ads and no tracking for advertising purposes. The provider does not perform profiling for marketing purposes.

10. Children

The app is not specifically directed at children. The provider does not knowingly collect data from minors via central accounts, because no such accounts exist.

11. Security

Protecting your data depends largely on the security of your device (screen lock, up-to-date system, trusted apps). Within FinanzPlaner you can optionally enable an app lock (PIN/biometrics). No system can guarantee absolute security.

12. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you have in particular the rights to:

Because financial data is stored locally on your device, you can usually view, edit, export or delete it at any time in the app. For requests to the controller, use the contact details in section 1.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority competent for your place of residence in the EU/EEA.

13. Obligation to provide data

Using FinanzPlaner does not require transmitting household data to the provider. Without local entries, however, the core features of the app cannot be used meaningfully.

14. Automated decision-making

The provider does not carry out automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app, legal requirements or integrated services change. The current version is provided at this URL and in the app under More → Privacy. The published version with the stated effective date applies.

16. Google Play note

This privacy policy is publicly available at an HTTPS URL and describes the data processing of the FinanzPlaner app. It applies to the store listing and to the information linked or shown in the app.
